He learns that really, he knew absolutely nothing before Merlin came into his life, everyone he thought were his enemies are friends, his friends are all cruel people (one more princess joke Gwaine... see what happens) and his sister is a meddling witch. No, really.
Oh, and apparently his soulmate is a god.

Summary
When Hannibal comes to live with Will in New Orleans, Will's not sure what to expect. He's certain that Hannibal will be bored with him and the rules he lays down, certain that he'll think Will's too fucked up to have sex, and certain they'll end up hurting each other. Hannibal makes it his mission to convince him otherwise.
Add in time travel, grits, Will's dad, sodomy laws, Y2K, illegal substances, secret letters, a stray dog, and a little slice of murder, and you get one hell of a first year together.

The newly launched MAGE TV, the wizarding world's first broadcast network, has the chance to cement themselves as the future of Wizard entertainment. The one and only Harry Potter, seven time Witch Weekly most eligible bachelor, will star in their hit new show Wix Ever After, where fifteen eligible Wix will compete for the chance of marriage with the Boy (now hot, hunky man) who lived.
Draco Malfoy, disgraced, reclusive, curse breaking Death Eater, can't keep up a giant manor all on his own, but he's loath to part ways with the only thing left to his name. If he can just convince the producers to keep him on long enough he can convince the world that Harry Potter sees some good in him, then maybe he can save his home, his best friend's job, and the Malfoy name.
It could all be a simple plan, if only Draco didn't desparately want Harry to give him a chance at love.

Summary
This is a time-travel fix-it (sort of). After Will pulls them off the cliff, Hannibal wakes up on the day he met Will.
He proceeds to experience a lot of different loops where he tries to do things differently so they'll end up closer to his ideal outcome, and then things that will create Will's perfect world, and then he just... he just wants to create the perfect life for the two of them. Will's perfect and his own perfect don't really mesh, and Hannibal begins to realize that maybe... maybe some of the things he did to Will were bad. Maybe he was wrong. Maybe he even regrets some of his choices.
Hannibal learns the rules of time travel as he is forced to loop for what amounts to hundreds of years. He has to get it right. He has to fix whatever he did wrong. Because his real body and his real Will are still falling, and until Hannibal gets this right, he won't be able to save them.
