Summary
"Oh." Adora's eyes widen and she can't help but stare. She's gorgeous, a woman with split eyes and a slender frame. The beast must have gotten her. Adora briefly wonders if rescuing her would jump start her ability to romance her. "I'm here to rescue you," Adora announces proudly, leaning on one of the walls.
As she steps into the light Adora notices her ears are shaped like those of a cat and she has a tail. "I don't think you're here to rescue me." Her voice is almost angry as she takes a step closer.
"Well, I admittedly didn't know there was a damsel in distress." Adora laughs, her hand reaching nervously behind her neck. The woman hisses and Adora freezes holding her hands up. "I'm not here to harm you, I'm just looking for the beast the villagers were talking about."
The woman rolls her eyes. "They were talking about me." She says flatly while twitching her ears pointedly.

The angel eyes them for a moment longer, blue eyes darting between Catra and Finn. "Fine. You promise that you're going to take care of them?" She requests.
She nods. "Sure." Catra isn't going to let anything happen to Finn, so it's easy to agree.
The angel is right in front of her now, with barely any space between them. "Not good enough. What's your name?" She demands.
Catra rolls her eyes. Angels are so dramatic. "Catra." She supplies.
"Mine is Adora." The angel steps closer and that makes Catra realize Adora is a lot taller than she thought. "You will swear on your life that you will protect Finn. That you will nurture them and defend them."
"I swear."

Superhero AU where She-ra and Wildcat work together within the Alliance, a superhero league, but don't know that their fellow superhero is also their best friend and long-time crush. The first 5 one-shots in this series explain how Adora and Catra bridge the gap between them in their superhero and civilian lives.
One-shots that follow the first 5 will be ordered chronologically and will deal with worldbuilding, character studies, fluff, and other shenanigans within the Alliance! This will remain an open project that I plan to return to occasionally, especially whenever I receive prompt requests for one-shots within the universe. She knocks on the apartment door that belongs to her brother, fully ready to arrange her face into a disappointed scowl but when the door opens, Adam’s broad frame is nowhere to be found.
Instead, Adora has to lower her gaze to find a stunning woman wearing shorts and a vintage t-shirt that is somehow both baggy and still looks great on her.
The brunette eyes Adora up and down, a devastating smile crossing her lips as she does so. Adora stares back, mouth open to say something but no sound comes out.
"Adam there's a hot blonde at the door. Is this one of the strippers you thought about marrying?" She calls into the house. She leans against the door frame and the t-shirt collar dips, revealing a delicate shoulder. “Because given new information, can’t blame you for considering it.”
Adora can feel the blush rushing up her face and adds strip clubs and potentially marrying strippers to the list of things she has to talk to her brother about.
