Luo Binghe was still as alone as that little beggar boy sleeping out on the streets.
A lone boatman (and ex-emperor) catches fancy lobsters by day and contemplates the couple who ruined his life by night. In the unlikeliest place, he meets somebody.

Summary
Shen Qingqiu didn’t really think much of it. Sure, Luo Binghe liked to act like a little housewife, but that was nothing new; he’d been doing that since he was a teenager. And yes, he seemed to have something of a wifekink, but whether the wife in question was Shen Qingqiu or Luo Binghe himself seemed to depend on his mood. All things considered, there wasn’t really anything that made him question Luo Binghe’s gender. Why would he? Binghe was the stallion protagonist! Yes, granted, he was softer and more feminine in comparison to his original PIDW self, but that was just because he was happy, nothing more. As long as Binghe was happy, Shen Qingqiu was perfectly content.
Of course, becoming complacent meant it was the perfect time for the universe to throw a wifeplot at them.

He hangs his coat up by the door and kicks his shoes off. At the entrance is a small framed photograph of a young boy. It’s the young Luo Binghe, freshly ten, the exact same picture he’d been shown the very first time he’d ever gone to visit Binghe. He likes having that be the first thing he sees when he arrives home. He pets the frame with a gentle touch, the muscles in his right hand twinging uncomfortably.
“I saw you again today,” he says to the picture. “You’re bigger now. You look healthy.”
The little Luo Binghe looks back at him through the photo, mouth curled into a tiny smile despite being withdrawn and shy.
Shen Yuan smiles encouragingly back at the picture. “Should I come visit you?”Shen Yuan is a child welfare officer; Luo Binghe is a teen growing up in the foster care system.

Proud Immortal Dragon Way was a book that started as a xianxia with a western-styled dragon rider twist and ended as a trashy harem novel, where the only thing being ridden was the protagonist’s heavenly *beep*. Every. Damn. Chapter. It was such a waste!
When Shen Yuan died cursing the plot, the inexperienced system assigned to his case failed to connect him to his intended role of the scum villain. Instead, he was shunted into -- what was this tight cramped darkness?? What do you mean mission: ‘Hatch Safely’!?
After breaking the shell, who wouldn’t recognize an iconic hatching scene from the book, where disciples would impress hatchlings. The kind Binghe, in the middle of his whump arc, was never allowed to partake in.
Well too bad, it was Binghe or bust! Where was the Qing Jing woodshed? Shen Yuan would drag his pathetic little newborn body as far as he needed to!
