And that was before a misfiring groundbridge sent him hurtling into a parallel universe - the universe we know as Transformers Animated! A universe where Autobots rule Cybertron, Optimus Prime is just a lowly technician, and Megatron is...

    ... different.

    Starscream isn't sure what to do with a Megatron who'd rather lounge on a throne with a goblet of vintage engex than blow off steam in the arena. A Megatron who shares his taste for the finer things. A Megatron who listens to his ideas. A Megatron who, at last, seems to thoroughly understand Starscream -

    - and that means he sees every treacherous little thought in Starscream's processor.

    No, Starscream isn't sure how to handle this. But it just might be fun to find out...

    He knew instantly that something was off, and now the conscious details are slowly filling in that instinctive realisation. The figure is wrong , too straight up-and-down and not broad enough in the chest. More damning, though, now that the mech has risen and is moving towards him, is the walk. His lord, in spite of the millennia spent as Decepticon ruler, still moves like a gladiator: the swinging shoulders, the low centre of balance, showy enough to please a crowd while still being perfectly poised to dodge an attack. This mech, whoever he is - he moves like an emperor. Frames can be remade to an extent, but a walk ?

    The second kiss is pure desire, with just a hint of triumph.

    “I don’t know if I like them.” Megatron said offhandedly.

    Starscream could feel his vents stutter, spark clenching at those words. Then he felt cool metal clasping around his neck and he tensed up.

    “Unless they’re on you, pet.” Megatron had leaned in, closing the last few inches to attach the collar around Starscream’s neck and purr the words into his audio.
