Summary
Sunday and Kakavasha are far apart but there is at least one person in the world that would see them together again.
Months pass after Kakavasha leaves Sunday behind. Even as he travels once more inland, he knows he hasn’t truly left the sea behind. As he makes his way down the road, he can hear the waves when the wind rushes over tall grass and at night he dreams of drowning in his lover’s golden gaze. When he pauses to rest a few days in each town and village he comes across, he is only too happy to spin tales of the beautiful and enchanting people of the sea for an audience that had never seen the ocean with their own eyes. Sometimes he earns a little coin and sometimes all that’s offered to him are a few hot meals and a place to sleep while he’s there but he doesn’t begrudge a comfortable place to lay his head.
And on nights when the moon is full and seems to make everything glow with silver he has to wonder if he had stayed behind, could he have convinced Sunday to remain with him? A selfish wish, maybe, but Kakavasha had never claimed to not be. Not really.

Summary
Aventurine learns about a comic series called Fluffy Across the Blue and he becomes enamored of a certain bird character...
But now he's invested so whenever a new chapter comes out, he makes time to give it a read while dropping hints to Pearl that she should put him in touch with whoever Blurry_QR_Colt is so he can talk to them about a few creative ideas he has for them to include some form of compensation for the Fluffy's original inspiration.
Pearl ignores his hints but keeps sending the comics.
When a little bird named Sundove suddenly appears and joins the crew, Aventurine almost drops the book in his surprise.

Childe has no more time to think before a glow rises from the stranger’s body and lightning hits him out of nowhere, filling him with exquisite agony as bolt after bolt strikes him and leaves him staggering until he finally collapses back onto the road in exhaustion.
Dimly, he hears a wailing noise approaching and then the sound of those carriage doors and someone’s running footsteps.
“Well, Zhongli,” a bright female voice says from somewhere above him, “I think this one’s for you.”

Summary
