Summary
The wolf's head lay back on his neck and the loud howl penetrated Ghost's ear canal, made his eardrums tremble, and almost tore them apart. The call for help was stabbing and prickling over his skin and Ghost didn't underestimate it. Without hesitation, he turned and ran.
The blood in Ghost's vessels is ice cold. His life is immortal and although vampires are loners, he lives with those he fought with in the war and was turned just like them.
His life revolves around fresh, warm blood. So when he gets his hands on some good stuff and goes hunting for the newly arrived werewolf König, he sets a series of events in motion that he hadn't foreseen.
And after his hunt, he wants so much more than blood. -

Summary
After a mission gone awry, Ghost is forced to take it slow. Assigned to hunt down a notorious German smuggler, whose empire seems to have endlessly deep roots. Barred from action, in a case that brings his career and life to an abrupt halt, he is only insulted further by being made to work alongside the long-time competitor fraction KorTac. As he is slowly stripped from all of what makes him him, he is forced to ponder on who he is, his role within this world, and who he wishes he were instead. He comes to learn quite quickly that he cannot outrun his problems forever, as a lifetime of regret and hurt come crashing down around him like an unstable house of cards.
And at his all-time low, in personal and professional life alike, he meets König too. Stuck in the same position as him, the KorTac Operator gets under his skin and makes him throw aboard all his rules. As they dwell together in those blue hours, stuck between waking and sleep, he finds and unlikely companion, navigating the same pathway.
