Lucy wakes with a choked-off gasp, and then doesn’t move. It’s the same feeling again, phantom metal still digging into her body, and she can’t stop herself from curling into a ball.
If she checks her phone, she’s sure she’ll see that godforsaken date once more. It’s only been two loops so far, or three depending on how one counts, but she’s already sick of it. She’d been stupid enough to hope that it had stopped.
How many times is she to be killed before it sticks?
(Lucy gets trapped in a timeloop, to die at the end of it each time. She can't break out alone.)

There, right in front of him, on his plush couch, with her back turned to him is unmistakably their beloved blue and white clad Archon, hunched in on herself like a wounded animal, entirely unmoving and─
