  Summary

  Haven Song is a fifteen-year-old girl in New York starting her sophomore year, just like everyone else her age. Only this is technically her first time in high school since she attended all of freshman year online due to her severe mental health issues taking over her life since eighth grade. But now she needs to pull herself together and get the fuck out of her room. Haven suffers from major depressive disorder (MDD), generalised anxiety disorder (GAD) and many addictions, including self-harm, smoking and drinking. However, despite these major problems taking over her life, her narcissistic mother and emotionally detached father are forcing her to get her pathetic life back. Especially since her seventh-grader sister is a prodigy at literally everything and is academically gifted. This leaves her no choice but to survive the next three years of high school and try not to kill herself again. Things don't get better. She just gets new shit to deal with.
