Summary
Sometimes, she doesn’t even get a chance to name herself.
It’s entirely probable that this life had a name, in the same way that she once was called “Clara” before she hitched her Time stream to a madman’s, but it’s been centuries since she was that certain of herself.

Summary
In the moment in which the Master falls into the Eye of Harmony at the centre of the Doctor’s TARDIS, a series of increasingly improbable things occur.
In the Master’s partial defense, the Doctor is the one who throws the temporal block and shatters both their timelines.
—
For Heimeldat, who said freaky alien Time Lord anatomy, eldritch horror, and creative varieties of whump.

Summary
Does he perhaps handicap his plots to give the Doctor a way out? To incentivise the Doctor’s intervention on his behalf, even?
If he does, then a gentleman never tells. What the Master can say for certain is that he never planned this.
In which the Master visits a library alone and almost regrets it.
A quiet, violent character study.

Summary
What, indeed, does it mean that Hades and the Deathless Prince Zagreus do not share a name? Is a shared titular line sufficient to bind a family together? A kinder storyteller might offer a kinder answer.
But these are not the questions that the Lord of Hades has turned his overlabored mind to this eve.
Hades, God of the Dead: “Well, I’m certainly thinking about them now.”
No; instead, he contemplates the matter of the dread son’s dreaded escape. For reasons unmentionable—
Hades, God of Death: “Oh, so this time, you have a sense of restraint?”
—he must endeavor at all costs to prevent this.
Or: An AU where killing Hades still isn’t enough.

Summary
They go back, in the end, to Australia.
She hates him, or maybe he hates her—it’s all sand under the bridge. It’s certainly never stopped them before.
In which the Doctor has a wonderful day out and gets stung by an insect. Not, to the Master’s consternation, in that order.

Summary
According to Uther Pendragon, there's only one way to rule a kingdom, and that's by keeping your subjects in line with harsh punishments and an atmosphere of fear.
Arthur isn't entirely sure that's true, but without a counter-example, the prince is beginning to follow in his father's footsteps, throwing people in the stocks for minor infractions and meting out physical punishment whenever he sees fit.
That's is, until a troublesome servant turns up to teach him that his true power lies in his ability to inspire those around him.
Physical discipline seems to be entirely unnecessary for Merlin - who is always so horrified by the prospect of having to actually do his job that asking him to perform his normal duties is punishment enough for any infraction - but there is something about the way that he gasps and hisses in his grasp that makes Arthur want to play rough.
As Arthur starts to treat his people with a more gentle hand, he comes to realise that when he slaps Merlin around the head for being an idiot, what he's really saying is "I love you".

Summary
Neal had a very specific code of ethics regarding motel rooms, and how nothing you did inside one actually counted outside of it, and while that rule had been made up about ten seconds ago it was a good rule that let him slide one hand up into Peter's startlingly soft hair and kiss back.

No, that would be the itching.
