Harry Potter was tired. After surviving the graveyard and going back to the Dursleys, it seems all his friends and godfather can say to him is "We'll talk when we meet, I can't say anything". He genuinely doesn't know if he can last another month like this. And if he doesn't get news, he'll find some for himself. So he decided to leave, just for a month. The only thing he wants is to breathe. Maybe for the last time.
Of course, nothing was ever easy for Harry - it really shouldn’t surprise him that he turns out to be a wanted criminal, acquires unholy ancient magic and becomes the third side of the war himself, not to mention the pretty blonde whom he picks up while he's on the run.

“Excuse me?” the professor quirked an eyebrow. Hermione relaxed into her chair and readjusted her robes.
“We know everyone loves Quidditch, but what if we got the audience involved, even if it was just for a couple minutes? I know that everyone would love it! So, at Muggle sporting events there’s this thing we have called the kiss camera. It gets the crowd really excited every time, it’s this camera that projects onto a big screen in the middle and it randomly picks two people. They’re then projected so everyone can see them and they have to kiss. It’s really just harmless fun, professor. The kids will love it, and it’s simple magic.”
“Well, I don’t see any major reasons why not… I’ll have to run it by Dumbledore, and I doubt it’ll be present at the next match.”

Harry looked back. Draco was standing now, a slender figure in black silk, his face cast in half-shadow by the dormitory's low lighting.
"Thank you," Draco said stiffly, as if the words were unfamiliar on his tongue. "For coming to check on me."
"Anytime," Harry replied, with a small smile. "That's what friends do."
Draco's eyebrows rose fractionally. "Is that what we are now? Friends?"
"I don't know what we are," Harry admitted honestly. "But we're not enemies anymore. That's something, isn't it?"
A complicated series of emotions crossed Draco's face—surprise, uncertainty, and something that might have been hope. "Yes," he said finally. "I suppose it is."
Or Harry touches an experamental crystalised form of amortentia, once the effects are gone he's more perseptive of Draco and realises he's under pressure from his family.
