He’s trying to sleep, and Tord is warm, per usual, the warmth is lulling Tom back to sleep gently.
“I’m hungry,” it’s an agitated huff, followed by more squirming against Tom and their heavenly velvet sheets.
Forget it, Tom’s brain is on now, but his body still feels too heavy to move right now, and Tord’s still warm. So, he drags his head against the sheets, closer to Tord’s neck. With a warm puff of air, he mumbles without even thinking-
“10 more minutes, baby?”
The squirming stops.
It was an accident, a slip, a mistake, something he’d never call Tord- just a result of being clouded with sleep. They weren’t the couple to exchange syrupy pet names. Any other day, Tom would expect Tord to bark with laughter in his face like an asshole.
Yet, it’s deadly quiet.
