Germany froze, the elevator became so quiet that he could hear the machinery around them.
“Uh-”
Italy beamed up at him with an innocent, almost sheepish smile, and any apprehension Germany had just..sort of melted away. He didn't know what the idea was, but deep down he was already going to agree with it.
“Alright,” He sighed. “what is it?”
The Italian’s grin somehow got wider. “Let’s get back at France- and steal the Mona Lisa! It belongs to me anyways-“

The neverending night was lit by the exploding bombs, gunshots cut through the air and the only noise were the fading screams and rattles of the dying. He gripped the gun in his hand while held his son close, running as fast as he could.
The Führer, the oh so mighty leader, left him here to die while he disappeared in a bunker where no bomb could reach- under the buildings and roads of the collapsing capital, Berlin.
Black saliva dripped from his lips as his teeth turned into sharper fangs from anger, his nails lengthened and pierced through the leather gloves on the tips of his fingers.The child whined in his arms in despairing fear, his face dirty from the dust that clouded the air.
Two Soviet soldier crossed the street before them, and he put his hand gently on Germany's trembling lips, hushing him as he leant into the sheltering alley's wall.
Maybe this is how they would die....
The war is almost over...
The governement lost everything, killed millions...
He looked down at Germany, his small wings were trembling from fear.
And in that moment he felt he could lose everything that was truly important to him the most...
