Summary
Six months ago, Pomni came to on the concrete in front of an emergency room after the circus crashed.
During their time in the circus Jax and Pomni had formed a friends-with-benefits relationship to distract from the digital hellscape. As a consequence of this arrangement, they conceived a child in the circus. After the crash, they lost not only their digital child, but each other.
After a particularly unsettling nightmare, Pomni (Hana) checks her YouTube channel to re-connect with activities she used to enjoy before her time in the digital space. Whilst checking her limited notifications, she uncovers a comment that might connect her back to Jax.

Summary
Modern AU where Rikuson, Maomao, and Tianyu all grew up in the same small-ish town. Tianyu lives with his uncle, and Maomao lives with Luomen and the Verdegris Hall. Rikuson and Maomao knew each other first, and Tianyu arrives a bit later. Tianyu and Maomao develop their relationship during their high school years, and continue to bond to the point that they become roommates and follow the same career path. Rikuson, Tianyu, and Maomao are all involved in the same relationship.
