“Am I dirty?” he asked before he could think better of it.
Suguru looked him up and down with a curious expression, squinting, searching for something that could explain whatever the hell was going on. “Huh? No… you look fine to me.”
That’s not what I meant. Am I filthy, or am I pure?
“Are—are you sure?” It came out weak, brittle. He lightly unclasped the hand from Suguru’s jacket which he was still holding, leaving it just hovering over the fabric. He was scared he’d burn Suguru again, but he was more scared about being unclean. “What about my hands?”
Without reservation, Suguru gently took Satoru’s hand from the jacket and then lifted the other, still pressed to Satoru’s chest, into his own small palms. He turned his hands till his palms faced God, and Lord, did they burn, but before he could pull back, Suguru held them firmly, thumbs brushing over the lines and grooves of his palms, steady, careful, unflinching.
“All clean, ‘Toru. I promise. See?”
Satoru did not believe him.
Or, Satoru wrestles with God, the Bible, and the slow, undeniable realization that he is in love with his best friend, Suguru.

But sometimes you don't want to be stuck inside a condo all day with no clue on what the fuck is going on. And maybe, just maybe, he'd like to be included instead of treated like a little kid all the time.
OR; Ash is dead set on keeping Eiji safe, but Eiji is determined on officially joining the gang. Angst ensues.

Summary
It’s 1991 in New York City. 17-year-old ballet prodigy Ash Lynx thought that agreeing to star in a charity show for AIDS awareness would be a break from the hard pace of his career. But as the “Swan Queen” in an all-male version of “Swan Lake,” Ash is uncharacteristically detached from his character. Odette is a tragedy; cursed to be swan, torn away from her one true love, killing herself to be with him in death.
Ash can’t relate to the self-victimization.
Things only get more complicated when 19-year-old Japanese photographer, Eiji Okumura, comes onto the scene, poking into Ash’s life with an insatiable curiosity, trying to help Ash reconnect with his muse.
As Ash feels the pressure from his head manager and guardian, the impossible to please Dino Golzine, and is running out of places to hide from the darker, uglier parts of his past and present, Ash Lynx has to start asking the same questions as Eiji.
Does he want to live like he’s in a ballet or dance to the beat of his own drum?~ ~ ~
Or, in which the author uses Swan Lake as an overt metaphor for Ash and Eiji's tragic love (with a fix-it ending)

“He—” His throat closed. He pressed his fist against his mouth, tried again. “He taught me wrong. I don’t… I don’t know what’s mine. I don’t know if I’ll ever—” The words collapsed into silence.

Having now to face an entirely new life while still weighed and changed by the errors and violence of the recent past, they have to learn to work together again, even if, for that, they also need to confront the new and old feelings that have brought them together and cast them apart. Viktor loves Jayce; Jayce loves Viktor, but it is not as simple as that. But it could be. It's a new page, after all.

And you actually want to do it. Am I missing anything?”
Viktor hesitates, before throwing caution to the wind. Unreserved honesty will prevent any miscommunication later. “You also kissed me.”
Jayce’s head whips around. “I— What?”
“You - he - kissed me. And…” Viktor trails off, gesturing vaguely - uncertain of how much he should reveal. He’s always seen sex rather candidly, never understanding Piltover’s insistence on maintaining taboo; but out of consideration for Jayce, it seems polite to keep the details to himself.
His hand motion must convey more than enough. Jayce flushes from the crown of his head to his Adam’s apple, and buries his face in his hands.

Summary
Steve never tells anyone about Billy. He watches Max disappear into herself with grief and guilt but he can’t bring himself to tell her that he feels it, too. That he knows the loss is mixed up with hatred and relief, but is still pure in the way it pierces something fundamental inside of him, and he gets it. He just never tells anyone.
But then there is Eddie Munson, with a wickedness that feels wholesome and warm and slowly, Steve is starting to think he might want it. He just doesn’t think he can figure it out without first figuring out how to let go of Billy.

Eddie can’t seem to look away, can’t bring his ethereal gaze back up where it belongs. Steve thinks he should run, he should flee. A tiny part of him knows Eddie will chase him. Eddie will catch him, outrun him easily.
It's more than a little fucked up how that thrills him.

Eddie believes three core things about the art of performance. 1. all the world's a stage. 2. performance is both a weapon and a shield, he wields it as both. And 3. you can’t act death.
To quote Stoppard: “It’s not gasps and blood and falling about—that isn’t what makes it death. It’s just a man failing to reappear, that’s all…”
And Eddie had gasped and bled and fell about, and was foolish enough in that moment to believe that was death. But he forgot a crucial step: he reappeared.
Or: Steve is taking it day by day, flitting between the high school and the hospital and Hopper’s cabin, locking any thoughts of Eddie Munson away at the back of his mind. Meanwhile, Eddie is just trying to get out of the Upside Down, with nothing but a nail-shield and the world's worst company.
