He wonders if they are friends, lovers, family, or just casual watchers of the racers— Maru is neither of those, he is not even sure if what he has with Kenji deserves a name. Whatever they have, it goes as fast as these flashy cars on the race track, and from the thrill it gives, one can’t take away the fear it comes along with.
