Superfish has a weakness for candy. Having a sweet tooth and being otherwise obsessed with human food, he can often be found with a lollipop swirling in his mouth, clicking against his teeth, bulging against his cheek, his tongue dragging on the surface. To DJ's dismay, this is terribly provocative.
OR
Superfish essentially makes love to a sucker which causes DJ to have some very conflicting feelings, of which he becomes so pent up he has to convey.

“S...fish?" DJ whispered, his voice barely a breath. A sharp gasp of pain cut him off, his body instinctively trying to curl inward, only to shudder violently as his ribs protested.
"Don't move. Don't speak, you idiot," Superfish choked out, his grip tightening gently against DJ’s cheek. The arrogant witch was completely gone, instead his eyes were wide, glossy with unshed tears, and swimming with a devastating mix of guilt and terror.
"Look at you," Superfish whispered, his voice trembling with pure pity and mounting fury at whoever did this. "You're so fragile. Why didn't you wake me up?”

DJ gets a good beating from Johnny and his mates while he was going home. Superfish finds him in a very injured state and takes care of him.

Reluctantly, DJ & Superfish oblige.

DJ gets trapped in a coffin with an unfortunately handsome witch, causing feelings to arise and contact to be made. A play on seven minutes in heaven.
