'The boy behind him looked around his age, maybe a little older, with a slicked up quiff gelled just the right way, striking blue eyes, multiple ear piercings, a little silver lip ring and a long leather trench coat on with muddy timberlands at his feet.
"Close your mouth, Dean." The boy laughed.
"Huh?" Dean was genuinely confused at the boy's words.
"Oh my god, are you being serious?" The boy chuckled and walked around the back of the chair, placing himself beside him. He ran his tongue over the little ring at the right hand corner of his mouth and Dean was still speechless, who the hell was he?
"Damnit Dean, it's me, Cas." And the boy turned round fully, covering up his lip ring with two fingers to see if Dean recognised him any better without it.'

Summary
Billions of people on the planet and everyone has a soulmate. On the day of the younger mate’s 18th birthday, both wake up with a mark representing something unique to their soulmate. However, since the mark is not always in a visible spot and could live across the world, there are many people who never find their match. Walking down the street, it was easy to tell who had never come in contact with their bonder. Dull eyes, wrinkles, and sagging stooped bodies pulled the Incompletes slowly down the street. Just taking one look at an Incomplete made most children wait with bated breath for the day they could find their other and keep themselves from being one of those hopeless zombies.
Castiel Novak and Dean Winchester are soulmates who go to the same college and don't know it. After Dean starts failing their English class and Castiel tutors him, they start to notice things are different with their relationship than if it were normal...
