“Silence!” Minho yelled at the human and the whole valley grew silent at his words. Even the wind stopped whistling as it played with the leaves of the weeping willow. “I do not have followers, I do not have believers, and I do not accept devotion from anyone. You will never become a believer of mine,” Minho said, his words echoing the vow he had made to himself when he had been thrown out of the heavens. "You do not belong."
Or; it isn't unheard of for a human to fall in love with a deity, but it is most peculiar when a god falls for a mortal. Minho doesn't think he will ever be able to trust a human again, but somehow Chan manages to make his way into Minho's heart.

Summary
His burst of gratitude for the sympathy of his boss were all substituted with the bitter feeling of being pranked by life, that the promotion was in fact a form of torture and that he had, of course, done something wrong.
Actually, he did know what he had done wrong, and the shadow of his past would follow him wherever he went, something so incriminatory and foul he was forced to bend his head down and pretend like he’d never done it. The promotion made it seem, momentarily, like he had been pardoned from his sins. Chan, such a good person, who thought highly of his own morals, having done something that went against his own professional ethics, and then being constantly reminded of it by the very person sitting across from him, he should have known it, in retrospect.
It was torture.
Minho’s wearing really tight trousers today. That’s his torture.

Minho takes a few steps back towards the couch. "Let me show you how handsome you are. There’s no reason why I just can't do it."
"Do what?" Chan asks.
MInho smiles as he takes a seat on the couch, turned at an angle so he's facing Chan. It's a very Minho smile somehow still, just the corners of his lips are pulling up, a quality imitation of a cat who got the cream. Chan is always very fond of it on Minho's face. On his own bare face however, it looks so incredibly wrong.
"Do what I always do," Minho says. He relaxes even further back into the couch. "I'll fuck you myself."
(Or, Chan and Minho have swapped bodies and they need to have sex in order to swap back. Chan struggles with fucking himself and so Minho helps him out by worshipping Chan's body. While he's inside Chan's body.)

He talked like the sound of rain against a window on a late summer evening, like his voice was a soothing cup of hot chocolate, and he smelled of warm evenings and driving with the roof down, he was the wind in Minho’s hair and the tender touch of home; he was the timid hand that tugged on the long sleeve of the t-shirt he slept in to convince him to stay, shy but brazen at the same time; Chan was the push and pull, making up rules only to break them, the good son but a bad boy in the way he smiled, and Minho briefly thought that maybe he should have expected that Chan was a heartbreaker.
Minho tentatively lied down next to him, instinctively turning on his side so they wouldn’t face each other. That would be too much for him, especially when he was only now starting to come to terms that he was falling for Bang Chan, his husband of two months.
Or, the one with an arranged marriage where both parties have a massive crush on each other but pretend like they don't.
