After the inevitable split of the Mantis' crew, Cal, plagued by the insatiable hunger for a fight, travels the Empire ridden galaxy with Merrin. Be it a sabotage or an escort mission, he faces each opportunity head on and with full force. Every dent in the Empire's hull makes them weaker, no matter how small.
Be it fate or the way of the Force, it is on one such mission that Cal feels a tremble in his unshaken conviction and finds himself reaching out to those closest to him with questions even they may not know the answer to. He might have poked the hornet's nest for too long and finally, the hornet came out to see.Takes place after the game. Takes into consideration Battle Scars with a few tweaks here and there. A wannabe sequel that might be soon retconned by the official sequel.
This is the final addition to my collection The New Jedi Order where you can find two cute fics about Cal's and Merrin's love that precede this story's timeline. It's not neccessary to read them in order to enjoy this story.Series

His is grown over and thrumming with the Force, hers with her Magick. Absent-mindedly, he focuses on the contact point of their hands, and when Merrin stands up and takes her hand away, he feels her touch lingering.

This was my epic to be - my script for season 3 of The Witcher on Netflix. It picks up right after season 2 finale and focuses mainly on the relationship between Cahir and Yennefer, and the untapped potential of their comraderie (or something more?). Plenty of drama, betrayal and love and learning how to forgive and go on. Oh, and Jaskier.
I was unfortunately unable to finish this piece before my drive for the story has run out, but I still believe these few chapers can be of joy to someone. :)
