“I, uh. I should probably go say ‘hi’ to Yunho,” he utters out, voice coming out somewhat scratchy and gravely with sleep. Seonghwa pauses in his movements, turning to look up at Hongjoong in clear confusion.
”Yunho isn’t here.”
Hongjoong frowns, still feeling disoriented. “What?”
”He flew out earlier this morning, a bit after you arrived I guess. He’s on his way to Paris already.”
Hongjoong silently balks. Wait. What?
Or: Hongjoong was meant to spend his layover in L.A. with his childhood friend, Yunho. But when Yunho jumps ship in favor of pursuing his own plans, Hongjoong is left behind for a full twenty-four hours with a complete stranger—Seonghwa.
But maybe the unexpected change of plans flip Hongjoong’s world around in more ways than one.

They chat lightly for a little while more before Maddox gets around to his real reason for calling; he wants to see if Joong is still doing okay, and to be updated on what he terms the ‘Seonghwa Situation’. “I’ll be honest, dude, when you didn’t call me begging me to break you out of there by day three, I started thinking maybe you’d tossed yourself in the lake.” He pauses. “Or that maybe Hwa tossed you in and you just… sort of let him, like a lovelorn assclown.”
“That’s a good album name,” Hongjoong replies dryly. “You should write that down.”
“Avoidance,” Maddox notes, “and attitude. You’re down bad. You’re not fucking him again, are you?”
Hongjoong winces guiltily. “No.”
“But you’re gonna.” It’s not a question.

Summary
The headstone before Jisung is simple but nice, nothing really to set it apart from all the other graves nearby except for the name.

Jisung drops to his knees, a shaking hand reaching out to trace the letters. The stone is cold beneath his fingertips but he doesn't care as he leans forward to press his forehead to the granite.
"I miss you, jagi." It's a whisper of sound, Jisung's voice cracking like glass on the last word. "So much. It hurts to be here without you."
Jisung is bombarded by the memory of that last day, those last minutes. The grief and guilt slams into him like a tidal wave, threatening to drag him under and drown him. But Jisung struggles to the surface, briskly wipes away the tears that had started pouring down his face.
"But don't worry," he whispers to the stone. "I'm going to fix it."

Summary
Seonghwa wants all of it tonight. Summary
“W-what are you doing back?” Hongjoong stutters out, grabbing the soiled pillow to hide behind, mind searching frantically for any sort of explanation to give for what he’s just been caught doing.
There’s no point. Who knows how long Seonghwa has been standing there—how much he’s seen? There’s not a single thing Hongjoong could say other than: “Yeah, I actually was livestreaming myself getting off all over the pillows you sleep on every night, wearing your clothes and moaning your name. Your eyes aren’t deceiving you.”
Or; Camboy Hongjoong decides to switch things up for his stream, and Seonghwa of course has to walk in on him and change the trajectory of their friendship forever.

Summary
If they were just two humans rather than soldiers on opposing sides of an endless war, would Hongjoong let himself stare a little longer, let his mind wander a little further in the dark of night alone in bed, to sable locks and slender fingers without the icy touch he knows them to have?
In the end, entertaining an idea like that is pointless. Because Seonghwa isn’t human, and he hasn’t been for a long, long time.
But then again, now…neither is Hongjoong.
