    Summary

Lt. Commander Shepard, the White Death of Elysium and borderline pariah, is named commander of the Fifth Fleet's newest frigate, the SSV Normandy. Her task? The sort of thankless, redaction-heavy missions N7s train for, on call to do cleanup whenever and wherever Admiral Hackett says go. Along the way she forms an unlikely band of misfits into a highly effective army, and discovers just how thin and flimsy the galaxy's veneers of normalcy truly are. Illogical? Maybe. But since when did reincarnation make sense? A better question; of all the nations in this godforsaken world, why the hell was I reborn in Iwagakure no freakin’ Sato? And right in time for the Third Shinobi War? Seems like I have two options. Become Iwa’s answer to the Yellow Flash, or pray for a second reincarnation. At least I have the power of the Gamer on my side…wait. I don't? GOD DA— [OC, Subversion of the Gamer Trope]

    Summary

Being trapped in another world is a hell of a thing.

You learn a lot about yourself. Who you really are, deep down inside. What lines you'll cross to stay alive, to try and get home. Who you think you can trust, who you think you love. Just how many lies you'll be willing to tell to keep your secrets. How much blood you're willing to shed.

I shed a lot of it, in Kirkwall, and I've spent seven years in purgatory as a result. Seven years trapped somewhere beyond reality, but not quite in the Fade. My only company myself, and a Desire Demon just as unhappy with the situation as I am. Oh. And... an Elven Goddess, I suppose.

Kind of hard to forget about her, since she's the one giving the orders now. Giving me the truth of how I ended up in Thedas, why I ended up there, and just what she expects me to do now that the Inquisition has begun. Can't say I'm happy about any of it, or that I'm about to actually follow her orders.

But then... I'm not sure how much of a choice I'll have.

    Summary

As they flew, Rhaenys watched her granddaughter. Her curls had been blown free from their pins, streaming in the wind, and she had raised a hand to idly trace the underside of a cloud. A sudden desperation seized her. If Corlys died, Baela would be one of the last two things binding her to this life.

Rhaenys shook her head, discarding the feeling, and settled in her saddle. There were three things that she had absolute faith in: Meleys, her husband, and that it would be Baela who would inherit the Driftwood Throne, even if it killed Rhaenys to put her there.

Rhaenys pushes for Baela's claim during the Driftmark succession crisis and finds herself sharing common ground with Alicent Hightower and her strange, half-Targaryen children. As war seizes the realm, Rhaenys, Baela, and Rhaena must navigate House Velaryon to safety, fighting alongside the people always believed to be their enemy.
