Yoongi is being punished. That’s the only logical explanation of why he always has to train the new people at work. It’s likely the universe is probably punishing him along with the heteronormative patriarchal capitalist system, and maybe even his best friend is in on it. To be fair though, Seokjin probably has a valid reason, they have been best friends since they’re six. But it’s really cruel that the universe is also punishing him.
The new kid is… he’s not great. He’s nice but he’s stupid and Yoongi is at the end of his wits. A pretty face can only carry him so far. The only problem is everyone keeps insisting that he’s actually a really good guy and Yoongi should just chill out.

Fatigue is crawling into Yoongi’s limbs, causing him to lean his head back against the headrest, hands falling to his thighs. His body feels heavy with lack of sleep and too many vending machine snacks.
Closing his eyes, Yoongi thinks it feels different. It’s probably because they aren’t here with him, he never truly drove around their neighborhood except to meet with Jimin and Jungkook. It takes him more time than it should before his eyelids flutter back open, his gaze scanning the different buildings before he finds one particularly familiar.
It’s weird, he thinks, how somewhere that always felt like home is so cold and unreachable now. Coming here after a long day always helped him relax, made him forget the stress of work. It has always been easy to put all of his attention on the two younger ones.
He misses it.
He misses it so bad.
