“What are you talking about?” Grace's fingers played quick chords as he spoke. He didn’t even look as he did it, but it did not make them any less purposeful.
“Discussing possible reasons why Tau Ceti is not infected while other stars are,” Eva replied deftly. “I would invite you to join, but we were just finishing—”
“Oh, that’s easy.” His hand twisted a knob, and the notes came out sharper. “It is infected—Petrova Line and everything.”
In Grace's opinion, dreaming about time traveling is no excuse for getting out of practice with his Eridian. To the rest of the Petrova Taskforce, it seems a bit odd that their resident Astrophage expert has suddenly taken to carrying a keyboard around and playing it whenever he speaks. Eva Stratt resolves to figure out what is going on.

When a nameless boy comes into their home, they have no way of knowing how he will shape their lives. There will be Radiants because this is Roshar, and there is no Roshar without the Knights. But this story is not about them. It is about a mother and father wishing the best for their children. One daughter who wishes for more than she has, and another who wants everything to stay as it is. And a boy, who in any other tale, would have left tragedy in his wake.

I LOST MY WHOLE MIND READING THIS. I could not skip a single word. I was so incredibly locked in because this was just THAT GOOD. The prose was gorgeous and the action flowed so well with the character interactions. I would read the whole 10 book series that leads up to this very moment, it was just that amazing. In fact, I’m absolutely dying to know everything that happened to Kaladin that brought him to this place because the hints of them feel so perfectly heart-breaking. I know such will not happen, but I’ll dream of it anyway. -

I really liked this fic and the therapy stuff going on. I love the implications of Kaladin getting Bondsmith abilities and it feels like a very solid theory for his future self with the changes seen in Syl and his connection to the Wind. It’s all very exciting and I doubt we’re likely to get a detailed version of these events in canon so it’s extra nice to have some interpretations of them. -

Love this. I feel like this is a missing piece of the story that I’m desperately hoping is touched on in canon during book 6, but we won’t get that for a while and it’s nice to read a very solid interpretation of how the news was delivered in fanfic. I really liked the Adolin chapter. Poor boi lost so much in such a short amount of time. I’m crossing my fingers for more chapters. -

Bunch of Kaladin focused one-shots many from Adolin POV
Read through Ch. 10Thoughts:
I really really liked the two focused on Adolin in Shinovar. Def want to see some pieces of grieving for Kaladin’s “death” in book 6 one day. For now, I subsist off the fanfic exploring it. I also liked the way they explored Kaladin’s time as a slave. Kinda feel dumb for not considering that he may have been violated as a slave. It fits well and now I kinda wanna look for any hints in canon that Sanderson might’ve considered it. Though Sanderson doesn’t usually go this dark, he did explored that aspect of slavery in Mistborn so I wouldn’t be surprised if it just didn’t come up as directly but is something that he has privately jotted down in Kaladin’s time as a slave. -
