Summary
First, Jaskier lost his witcher on that mountain top. Then Nilfgaard started the war and he lost everything else. Now he travels the Continent as a nameless, wandering, welcome bard. There is no greater power, Jaskier knows, than that of bringing light into darkness through the art of music and poetry.
It comes as a great surprise to him, then, that his presence is asked at Kaer Morhen by none other than Yennefer of Vengerberg. Although apprehensive, all hesitation melts away when he hears why they need him. Princess Cirilla seems in dire need of a bard to bring some light back into her eyes.
For that, Jaskier knows, he would even bear to live with four grumpy witchers and the Continent's most powerful mage. Oh well... He's sure this won't end well for him.
Or: Jaskier is coming to Kaer Morhen as Ciri's emotional support bard. They make an unexpected family along the path to healing.

Summary
Witchers don’t feel like humans do. - It’s one of the first lies told to him that has always stuck with Eskel and every other witcher he’s ever met. In fact, it is a lie so well-woven into his entire existence, a lie so old and treated as common knowledge, he doesn’t even think it’s a lie in the first place.
Witchers are immune to notions of sympathy. - Eskel thinks he is broken. Thinks that something went wrong, that he has not only become susceptible to magic but also to emotions. He tries to hide it after the trials, but he loses that fight when Lambert comes around. Eskel cries with him, his heart aching even when Lambert has long-since stopped shedding tears, stone-faced now like the rest of them. Like everyone but Eskel.

Summary
Jaskier finds his way to Yennefer's room after a nightmare, finds comfort in her silent embraces and later in her kisses. They don't talk about it, don't talk at all in those nights, only hold each other and try not to ruin it. That is, until one night Jaskier lingers by the door and apologises for being a burden. Yennefer has to break her carefully curated silence and make her bard believe that he is anything but a burden to her, let him know that she would burn the world again if only it meant she got to hold him like this. As she does, she re-learns what it means to breathe, even if it's only in between kisses.

Eddie had been cleared of all charges, The Byers were back in Hawkins like they’d never left, Vecna was dead and gone, and everything was back to normal; or rather as back to normal as Hawkins could get.
Unfortunately for one Steve Harrington, his new normal seemed to be not only his inability to get a date, but also his newfound proclivity towards staring at Eddie Munson’s mouth while he dramatically narrated during a five hour Hellfire session, or counting the freckles on the bridge of his nose, or memorizing the patterns in his honey coloured eyes.
