This wasn’t the first time he hurt himself willingly, not the first time he picked up a razor blade with the intent of making himself bleed, but it was the first in a few months and God, Jamie missed this feeling like crazy.
The feeling of being in control, of finally being the one choosing to cause himself harm, pain, sadness. When he was the one holding the blade his father didn’t exist, the pain his father caused him didn’t even hurt anymore, all he could feel was the itching from the cuts running along his arms.

“I think it’s time,” Chat said at last when their breathing had slowed and their trembling had stopped.
Ladybug looked up at him, confusion writ plain in her beautiful blue eyes. “Time for what?”
