Summary

Still, his father insists that he must choose a bride by the end of the social season, or he will be forced to marry and produce heirs with the bride chosen for him. Disgusted, Stede agrees to try to find a woman he can live with.
But at the first ball of the season, the women are so vapid - and so not male - that he can't bear the thought of marrying any of them. So he runs away from the ball, looking to escape, and finds himself in a pub owned by a gorgeous ex pirate, who retired from the sea due to an injury...

Known for their flagship wine, Revenge, Mercy is the first non-red wine Queen Anne has made in their decade in business. Located just a few stalls over from Silk and Honey, Stede can't keep his eye (or mind) off the handsome vintner as he peddles their new rosé.
Despite being in the business of love, Stede has resigned himself to being too fussy too needy too particular too much for romance—then Edward Teach breezes into his life and has him questioning everything.

“Shit, no I didn’t mean it like that. I’m a bit of a pirate nerd myself. Can I show you something?” He began unbuttoning his dress shirt before Stede could form the words to answer.
“What are you doing?” he started to ask, trailing off quickly as his mouth went dry at the sight of the man’s bare chest where he had pulled his undershirt all the way up. Stede was too distracted to finish speaking by the overall impression: a canvas of ink covered skin, muscular and soft in all the right places, a tantalizing trail of dark hair leading Stede’s eyes down, down…
Fuck. Focus, Bonnet.
He dragged his focus back to the inked images which were surely the point of this man’s public indecency.
