Summary
The weight of being Superman has started to get to Clark. He just wants to let loose for once, to indulge in the darker parts of himself without judgement. So when he meets Bruce, an aloof and charismatic man just being to be torn apart by Clark's hands, he gives in. It's only this once, Clark tells himself, and then he'll go back to life of sunshine and hope-- back to his life of wistful pining for the one connection he craves so desperately but knows will always be at arms length.

Summary

He shouldn't be doing this because Sidon might find out somehow, because the king might already know, because this might taint their precious friendship.
He shouldn't because a taste of intimacy like this is only going to make Link want the real thing even more.

Summary
They'd been caught in each others orbit for some time now and, quite frankly, Clark should have seen this coming. Crazy was part and parcel to Gotham after all... let alone his own life. His father had warned him about mad scientists, but Clark had the distinct feeling that this was not what he'd envisioned in the slightest.

Summary
Bruce doesn’t regret his rut with Clark, but if it hadn’t happened, he would never have touched him— really. Even when he was with Selina, he just wasn’t used to… it.
“I want you to want me like how I want you,” Clark had told him quietly, like a secret meant for only him to hear. Bruce, with a lump in his throat, replied, “Gotham. I belong to Gotham.”
With eyes gazing at something important on his neck, the Super asks, “Batman or Bruce Wayne?”
It’s ridiculous, this question, but in the moment, he entertained it anyway by answering, “Me.”
“Batman wears a cowl, but Bruce Wayne only has his skin.” Clark’s hand inches up, fingers hovering over the vulnerable area of his nape. “Clark Kent has Bruce Wayne’s skin.”
And he finds belonging to be different than owning, and if he doesn’t belong with him, then he certainly does not belong anywhere. If only he could understand that, then maybe he wouldn’t feel so confused about it.
