"There is one final thing." Adora trails off, unsure how to word the request—she’s never asked for something so selfish. She feels her allies stiffen at her back.
"What more could you Eternians possibly want?" Queen C'yra's voice is rude, vitriol oozing into every syllable. Her chest heaves as she tries to collect herself.
Adora points directly at the fiercest warrior the Magicats have, all fire and brimstone on the battlefield. She can't imagine leaving her behind, locked away in this tiny fiefdom.
"I want her," Adora states simply. There are murmurs of outrage throughout the room.
"My daughter? As your slave?" The Queen hisses from her belly a deep sound that would have intimidated most. Adora rolls her eyes at the mischaracterization. She looks at who she now knows is the Princess, she would clearly never be a slave to any mortal.
"No obviously not. I would not insult you that way, your majesty. I meant as my mate. You do have mates here in Halfmoon?"

Pyrrha Nikos is the most famous seventeen year old in Mistral. She's won four straight Mistral Championships, won more regional tournaments than she can count, and hasn't lost an official match in her career. In four short years she won back all of the prestige and wealth that the Nikos family had lost, elevating them back among the rich and powerful of Mistral's upper society.
Everyone knows her name. Knows that her path in life is set. She'll attend Haven as one of its most prestigious students. She'll finally compete in the Professional Leauges, carrying her dominance into the adult circuits. Her team will be the greatest in Mistrali history, ready to win the next Vyrtal tournament in Vale, and more importantly, the following in Mistral itself.
She would win ever greater fame, ever greater wealth for her family.
Too bad no one asked her what her opinion on all of this was.

“Oh really?!” A grunt cuts off the rest of the runemaster’s scolding as a blast of lightning crashes into the shimmering, invisible barrier only visible through her magical eye that glistens with specks of white. It flickers, threatens to break, but it is only her resilience- stubbornness- that keeps the shield intact. Beside her, distressed as she is, her partner takes one hand off of her pristine bow to place at her shoulder for silent support. “Gee, I wonder who could’ve told you that, Ruby Rose. Oh wait- I did before we came here!”
“...Love the positive attitude, Weiss.”
It was supposed to be a young dragon. A simple search and destroy mission the four of them decided upon. But then the mamma dragon showed up. Who definitely wasn’t a young beast. Who saw them killing her baby…
