After a thousand years with no contact at all, Sukuna isn't upset to find a powerful alpha within reaching distance. Megumi always knew his type of crazy was going to get him into trouble one day and Yuuji has no complaints about this development.
Or the story where I play up Sukuna's possessive tendencies and tone down the sadism, then build a pack around the simple fact no one screws with what's his except for him.

Gojo was silent for a moment, even though his lips had stretched into a smile. It was rare, really, for Gojo to come anywhere close to resembling genuine emotion, and yet in this moment…in this moment, Megumi knew he was dealing with the real Gojo.
“Is that a personal opinion?” Gojo asked, with his genuine, sad little smile.
“Yes, it’s a personal opinion,” Megumi returned. “Please save him.”
