Summary
Wilbur quickly internally calculated the risk and reward factor. On one hand, if he returned to the village, he’d be the laughing stock of the town, and quickly have to make his leave to another village with kinder hearts and better ale. His pack on his back felt lighter than ever and he shuddered at the thought of having to make an expedition with as little supplies as he had.
On the other hand, he would be spending a night in a forest he’s not familiar with alone, with nobody else to take watch. He’d either have to stay awake or risk getting robbed or eaten. But… the lack of beasts pricked at his mind, and he was fairly sure there were no bears or anything of the sort that would wind up maiming or mauling him.
God. He couldn’t afford to be maimed. He was too pretty. And too poor.

Wilbur and Schlatt are stuck in a shitty one bedroom apartment for all of their limbos. Their habits drive each other a little more than insane, and both try and whittle the other to get them to stop and pick up their own hobbies.

Scar’s never known the avian to be anything but confident, calm, and calculated. But now he’s frightened, swinging a sword around haphazardly as a last-ditch attempt to stay alive, and all it will take is one wrong move or one perfect shot from a pillager, and he’ll die.
And in a way, Scar is terrified too, because he’s never been able to land a shot on the avian before, or get close enough to do any damage, but whatever got to him first did much more than just a little prick from an arrow. Pillagers are scary in their own right, but Scar has a feeling that it wasn’t just pillagers or ravagers that did this.
Something is very wrong.
or, Scar saves the city’s most dangerous criminal, makes him his roommate, falls in love with him, and then also saves the world with him. In that order, with various setbacks along the way.

The guard stared at him for a moment, blue eyes blown wide behind his mask.
It was then the Pythia looked down at the hand outstretched between them. The prosthetic was made of intricately carved metal, covered in vines and flowers twisting together with the shimmer of enchantments reflecting in the purple glow.
And although the guard’s sleeve was covering his wrist, he knew that in the place where metal met flesh, there was a pair of dark angel wings tattooed on his skin.
He was right. This wasn’t a real guard.
This was a Deathling.
or, Wilbur is an oracle known as the Pythia, chosen to receive dreams of the future from the goddess Clara. One day, he receives a dream warning him that during a ball Emperor Schlatt is hosting, the Deathlings—terrorists who worship the goddess of Death—will launch an attack. When his warning goes ignored, he knows there's going to be consequences.
He doesn't expect one of those consequences to include him getting kidnapped by a teenager.

Which sounds pitiful, and it is.
(TL;DR the fic where karl and quackity flirt through Spotify, and sapnap and quackity flirt over coffee, and it all works out in the end, somehow.)
