Buck’s phone buzzes again and he checks it and winces.
“if you’re with someone else, just say it but i know you still love me.”“Oh come on!”
Buck practically yells.
Eddie walks behind Buck angrily just in time to see the message.
Without a warning he snatches the phone right out of Buck’s hand.“Eddie!”
Buck yells lunging up from the couch
“Give it back!”
But Eddie’s already typing with his knuckles are white.
“If this guy doesn’t understand boundaries, then he can deal with me.”
“Eddie seriou-“
“No”
Eddie shoots him a look.
“You shouldn’t have to deal with this crap. He doesn’t get to haunt you like this.”
He finishes typing and tosses the phone back.
Buck stares at the screen.
“This is Eddie I said leave Buck alone dude. Don’t text him again.”Buck blinks as he reads the text
“Well that’s..direct”

Summary
Gentle blue eyes meet Eddie's, catching the glow of the light. Eddie feels himself getting lost in them, caught in their pull like they've lassoed him.
He is suddenly very aware of how close they're sitting. The couch has plenty of space, enough for at least two more people and yet here they are, bodies angled together, a breath apart.
Buck lounges there so effortlessly, legs spread, arms relaxed and Eddie is drawn to the easy confidence of him. His gaze drops to Buck's mouth, the way his lips curve slightly upward, the way his tongue darts out to wet them. His breath stumbles and he feels it, that magnetic pull, that want, sharp and undeniable. He can't stop himself from thinking about what it would feel like to lean in, brush his lips against Buck's and savor the softness of him, steal those little gasps he's certain are waiting there and make them one.
Or; Eddie knows that he and Buck are soulmates and he just keeps putting off telling him.
