Summary
Dick’s goal for Thanksgiving (code named Operation F.I.S.H.): A family outing to the aquarium.
It feels achievable - everyone has been getting along better lately, Jason is spiraling closer, Cass is coming home. But there is a lot of unspoken hurt in every direction, and Dick’s own position in the family is shakier than ever since Bruce returned.
If Dick wants to realize his dream of family bonding, there will have to be many painful conversations between all parties. Dick’s own secrets will need to surface, the ones he has long kept submerged, the ones he will fight to sink forever.
(Or: Where Bruce is just a bit darker, even less emotionally available, and treats everyone a little worse, and how they all fix their family anyway.)

“Huh?” Shin blinks, staring at Nagumo, who hasn’t moved an inch. Not even his mouth had moved to speak.
“Hm?”
So there’s only one explanation, and that the voice came from his head. ‘Maybe I need to take a leave if killing that little fly made me this tired, but I don’t wannaaaa.’ He’s even whining in his thoughts. How cute. He wonders if Nagumo’s thoughts have always been this cute.
Maybe he could make him spill more spicy information, things that he could use to mock him and humiliate him in the future…aka Shin has a mission to get back on Nagumo for being annoying by getting him drunk

The warmth cocooning him takes on new meaning — it’s early November, and the mornings are often quite chilly. That’s another reason he doesn’t tend to stay in bed too long, preferring to heat his cold fingers with a steaming cup of coffee and curl up on his seat before the fireplace.
When he dares to lift his eyelids, he’s not as surprised as he might have expected to find his cheek pillowed on Sherlock’s forearm, with his hand clinging to an end of Sherlock’s loose nightshirt collar.
