“DICK FOR THE LOVE OF GOD SHUT UP!” Tim finally snaps, rubbing his forehead, a headache already ruining his usual Sunday Zen. Dick does go silent at this so he finally can say, “Damian's here with me.”

He's never told Dick that the first hug he can remember is that day at the circus, from a stranger who would in time be family. He's never told Dick that the next hug he remembers after that is nine years later, caught up in those same strong arms. He thinks he'd rather die than admit it.
"You're not hurt?" Dick is saying. "Nothing cruel and unusual, right?"
"She only let me have one cup of coffee a day," says Tim, very dry, and Dick makes a strange sort of a sound, almost a laugh, and tightens his hold so much it sweeps Tim right off his feet.

Across the old factory, where Nightwing plans to ambush a major weapons trade, is a bright new billboard. It must've been put up the night prior, because Dick would've definitely noticed the shining image of Bruce Wayne during his recon. His mother, appearing in an advertisement for Wayne Enterprises' latest makeup brand, wears slightly smudged lipstick and mascara that lines indecent eyes. A light blush paints his face, and highlighter shines atop the highest points of his cheekbones, making him seem as if he were tipsy. Bruce holds up a tube of the lip color used on him, and the company name is written in gold cursive against a pale pink background. It's a good ad, Dick would say, because it's very convincing. (If you buy from us, you'll look just as stunning as our CEO!)
That doesn't mean he likes it.
Or
Four times Bruce's pups protected him from unwanted advances, and the one time they didn't need to.

When Tim manages to turn his Summer stuck at boarding school into a Summer home alone, he thinks he has orchestrated the perfect plan for carrying out some night time bat stalking.
With a dead Robin and an out of control Batman, Gotham is in crisis. Someone has to do something, and Tim is willing to be that person. He wants to help.
Unfortunately, it turns out helping is a hell of a lot harder when you find yourself in possession of a tiny assassin child looking for his dad whilst the entire league of assassins is trying to hunt him down (and by extension, you).
It's even harder when the tiny assassin child likes to bite.
OR
An 11-year-old Tim somehow acquires a 6-year-old Damian. Mayhem, misunderstandings and mommy issues ensue.
