The woman he was waiting for, Clarissa Finck, was the mother of his best student, Marisol. Marisol was a bright and curly-headed sweetheart who was as much of a nerd as he was. She always raised her hand first, finished extra credit work, and never failed to find a way into Dr. Grace’s classroom. So of course, he needed to wait for her mom. When else could he brag about this perfect child? Plus, the girl's mother was surely just as eccentric as her free-spirited daughter.
Just then, the door creaked open. In stepped someone who looked much too young to be the mother of a 12 year old. She wore a fitted button up blouse with black dress pants, fancy heels clicking on the plain grey tiles. Her sleek blonde hair swayed as she moved, allowing for the teal undersides to shine out. Her presence radiated power. Automatically, the only word behind Ryland’s sweaty palms was fear.

Every time they kissed, or when Mike had become enraged after discovering she had been hidden from him.

Summary
“Well I went down to the mailroom to see if my copy of Teen Beat had come in for the month, but all I found was this letter.” Willow popped it up in the air, waving it high enough so her lanky father could see. Mike caught glimpses of the writing on the outside of the envelope, being unable to fully make out the sender’s name. Who would send me a letter? He questioned, reaching for the envelope.
Once it landed into his grasp, he ran his eyes over the letters which wrote the sender’s name and address. As each letter pieced together, Mike found himself becoming more and more unsteady, shock seeping into his blood stream. It felt as if the whole world was spinning around him, his eyes almost popping from their sockets.
Willow didn’t notice, voicing her question in a voice much too calm for the situation, Mike believed.

Summary
Izuku Midoriya's expectations of visiting the UA Development lab did not include meeting Katsuki Bakugo: support-course prodigy, general menace, and the only person who looks at his hero work like it’s something both logical and sacred.
He doesn’t expect to start staying late, or the quiet lamplight, or the way Katsuki leans in close when he’s explaining something complicated, voice low, precise, almost impatient.
Over time, it stops being academic collaboration. It’s the slow, dangerous realization that they’ve begun orbiting each other—drawn in by brilliance, staying for something neither of them is naming yet.

A group of Eridians patrolling space discover an odd looking ship, labeled SM-13, passing their planet, and discover a human inside. A man.
This man doesn’t know how he got here, only that the last he remembered, he was in a blood ocean facing certain death.
Grace must break a traumatized man out of his shell, while also working through his own repressed trauma.
Or: Two touch starved men must communicate their needs, work through their trauma, and build a domestic life on an alien planet.

Summary
“To the stars.”
Abigail Fletcher is a nobody. It is who she has always been, and who she was happy to be.
An ordinary 26 year old from an inconsequential part of England, an average airforce pilot turned mechanical engineer with a habit for singeing her own fingers, with a lacklustre love life, a drab apartment, a fashion style stuck in the 90's, a small circle of like-minded average friends, with little concern for her future beyond the meal prep needed for the next week.
She has no ambitions to be anybody, content with her lot in life and uninterested in grandeur. Least of all does she ever imagine herself a saviour of the human race, she can't even keep the plant on her windowsill alive. But that's just the very thing, courage is often found in the unlikeliest of places.
In a series of very unfortunate events, she finds herself awakening from a coma 12 lightyears from earth, with only an anxiety-ridden secondary school teacher for company. She doesn't know how she got here, what her part to play in saving the world could possible be, nor her own name.
But she's stuck, and so is he, so they might as well try and see the job through.
