"Hey!" said Dark indignantly, "It's not like I'm going to put arsenic in the stew or anything. This is just instant ramen and that broth you bought—um, stole—yesterday."
"Hmm. You might poison it, I don't know…"
Chosen began counting on their fingers. "Reasons to not eat the stew: One, it's probably poison. Two, I don't trust the Dark Lord to cook. Three… uh, did I mention possible food poisoning?"
"Yes…" Dark groaned, pouring out the supposed stew out into bowls and deftly carrying them to the table. "Just eat the damn thing."
"…Hard pass."I notice there's no ongoing flufftober challenge in this fandom, and spontaneously decide to write it.

"Texas Hold'em?" Dark suggested. "We can bet and whoever wins can have a prize. Ooh, maybe we can have the winner choose what clothes Chosen wears tomorrow—"
"We are not gambling, Dark." Victim replied flatly.
"Aww~""What about Go Fish?" Chosen said in that characteristically quiet voice that they used when talking to anyone except Dark. "We all want to murder each other already, so what better way to bond than to strengthen that urge?"
"What-" Vic paused. "Okay, as someone who has actually tried to murder most or all of you in this room, I can't deny that."Or, the hollowheads are bored and decide to play Go Fish.

Summary
Dark grinned, and Chosen had to consciously stop themself from flinching at the stark similarities between his carnivore-like teeth and the triangular shape of the cursor.
Hah… get over that already.
I am—we are—free now.I had a couple of thoughts about how Dark and Chosen are similar to fire and water.
They're kind of polar opposites, Dark (from Chosen's POV) is volatile and can be both comforting and damaging, like a campfire vs a wildfire. Chosen is kind of like water, in that they're powerful yet their behavior is shaped by their past and present surroundings.
So, I ended up writing them comparing each other to these elements, in a two-part fic that i compressed into a oneshot.Series

"Still awake?" Chosen blinked in surprise. Dark looked away.
"...is it your mission statement?"Dark's code gets a little too intrusive for his liking. Luckily, Chosen the unlikely impromptu therapist takes him out for a bit of quiet bonding.

The Second Coming is exhausted, tired of the constant back and forth of their life. It seems that whenever they're enjoying life with their friends, something tears them apart.
Now it's their time to show every little trick they learned and make their enemies pay.

Awakened TSC breaks free from the machine and torture TDL, having TCO and Victim watch. The color gang also watch- but they're safe, so who cares? (Certainly not TSC, that's who..)
