Florence Ashford and Walter McKey had been best friends for as long as they could remember practically doing everything together never separating once to the point of moving out to the big city where they developed their first game together—a game that they knew everyone would enjoy but when Antwan a boss of a big corporation comes to them with a major deal who were they to refuse until everything that they worked so hard to make becomes stolen leaving the two friends in quite a predicament. Keys ended up working for the corporation while Florence along with her other friend Millie Rusk were determined to show everyone that they were the real owners of the game Life Itself before the name was changed to Free City so together they entered the game gathering every little evidence they could in hopes that the world could finally see that Antwan was nothing but a fraud but when the NPCs start becoming hyper aware that they aren’t real people all hell breaks loose leaving Florence with no choice but to enlist her in-game boyfriend Guy to help them while also hiding the fact that she’s hopelessly in love with her best friend.
