Summary
Edward and Koudelka run into Father James in a part of Nemeton Monastery that looks like a run down Eden. Not canon compliant.
Content: Edward is in love with Koudelka, Father James is on a Mission, and Edward and James understand and empathise with each other.
Note: I'm not religious anymore, but the POV character Edward is canonically Christian.
Content warning for non graphic violence, mentions of the supernatural (ghosts, the occult), deaths of minor characters.
The events in this fic take place during the game Koudelka and before the game Shadow Hearts.
Canon scenes: Father James meeting Edward and Koudelka, his praying for the corpses.
Non canon scenes in the fic here: Father James' encouraging Edward to find work that involves rescuing people isn't canon and doesn't happen in the game or the manga.
Edited to add: The ending of this fic is not canon compliant, as Father James is much nicer and gets along much better with Edward here than he does in the canon game. Please feel free to correct any mistakes I make in this fic.

The part where the Inquisitor asks Leliana to find Solas and Leliana says she can't find him at all is canon.
The part where Solas says, "I want you to know, whatever happens, what we had was real," also happens in the Dragon Age: Inquisition game.
Chapter one takes place before the Dragon Age: Trespasser DLC.

Both of them see weddings mostly as business, until Anathema meets Newt, Love of her life, walking natural disaster extraordinaire, and very much not a person it’s possible to have a perfect wedding with.
Which is perfect since Anathema frankly never wanted one for herself. She just wants a fun party, good food, and all of her friends to attend - including Crowley. For whom this might just as well be the apocalypse because no, he is not allowed to work on her wedding. Strictly invited only as a guest, Crowley finds himself at a loss. What the hell do you do at weddings? Well, if you are Crowley, the answer is some James Bond-like action, some worrying about fly swarms and their sources, having a lot of emotions, drinking some very funny wine, putting your foot in your mouth and just maybe meeting someone to share all of that with. Oh, and there’s always cake, isn’t there?
