Summary
Eddie should be dead. He’s pretty sure he was, actually. He’s got the scars to prove it. So waking up in the Upside Down seems like kind of a shitty joke, and it just keeps getting shittier—until he finds Chrissy Cunningham. She should be dead too. Like, dead-dead. He saw the body, okay?
But here they both are, trapped in the shadow-side of Hawkins, and they’ll need to work together to find a way out. Because judging by those fiery gates, something has gone very, very wrong back home.
This isn’t quite what Eddie had in mind when he’d been trying to figure out a way to get her to hang out again—you know, mere minutes before both their lives went well and truly to hell—but he’ll take a silver lining if he can get it.
