Summary
Tommy was the last shifter left as far as he could tell, and he wanted to keep that a secret. He hadn't been in his human form for years and he didn't even know what it looked like, instead he preferred his shifted form of a cat (or a kitten according to most, but Tommy was a Big Man and was no little kitten).
He found an okay family to mooch off of, the Crafts. They were all annoying but Tommy would only have to stay for a month before he got all the good food and rest he could get from them and then moved on to the next town. He never got attached, and they wouldn't change that.

Summary
Theseus ‘Tommy’ Inet is many things. Professional disappointment, certified biggest of men, and seriously close to failing half of his classes. He’s less than thrilled when he’s forced to attend tutoring with a group of seriously dumb seniors- especially when it becomes clear that these losers may or may not be forcing him into their stupid drama club.
Said drama club, by all means, was never supposed to exist. Like many things in the school, it was the product of one Wilbur Soot-Minecraf's first year, after he had bothered Miss Puffy so intensely that she had allowed its creation just because it got him to leave her office. The members were world-renowned for their severe lack of social skills and even severe-er lack of talent.

Tommy blinked. Gradually, the corners of his mouth dropped into the deepest frown he’d ever made. “What the fuck? Why?”
“Why?” Icarus froze and Tommy raised a judgemental eyebrow. “It’s because of your powers.”
“My powers,” he echoed. “I never told you whether or not I had powers.”
“I can… sense them,” Icarus bullshitted. Tommy pinched the bridge of his nose.
“Right. What are they, then,” he retorted.
“Uh… super… powers,” the villain answered, sounding more unsure of himself by the second.
Tommy wanted to bash his head against a wall. “Really? That’s the best you could do?”

And you'd be wrong.No the reason, Wilbur is panicking is because is son is actually right next to him.
Or: After two weeks in L'manberg and everything seeming perfect, Tommy's life flips upside down again. This time because Sally has put a reward over his head. Now he has to go through a custody battle between his parents, hoping only one will win. Throughout it all things just can't go right.

Wilbur sat in a cardboard box, tail flicking and eyes focused, watching a blond kid dig through a dumpster. The child paid him no mind; who would spare a second glance to a cat in a box? It was a feline’s natural habitat, after all, and it was no surprise to find a street cat in one.
But Wilbur was no fool. He could spot a cat-shifter when he saw one. He noticed right away that the kid’s eyes were glowing, reflecting the light of a nearby street light. Human eyes didn’t do that. Even more obvious were the little ears and tail, the same color as his hair. Golden, like summer sunlight or honeycomb. It took a shifter to know a shifter, after all.
Or, Tommy and Wilbur are both catshifters - homeless catshifters. Phil and Techno adopt some strays.

Wilbur starts mumbling under his breath. “No. No, it can’t be. No way. This is a child. This is an actual child. No way.”
“Hey!” Tommy calls, beaming. “It’s child prodigy to you, Soot. Watch yourself, I probably have double your IQ.”
Wilbur comes to attention, eyes narrowing at him. “How… how? How are you in college? You’re a child.”
“Graduated early,” Tommy boasts. “Valedictorian, top of my class. Don’t be too impressed.” He pauses. “Your mouth’s open. You might wanna close it, mate. Your throat will dry up and you’ll die.”
Wilbur closes his mouth slowly. He continues watching Tommy’s expression, as if waiting for this to be a joke. “I have to room with a fourteen-year-old?” He thinks out-loud, horrified.
“Oi. Fourteen and three-quarters! ” Tommy reminds him.

Summary
Tommy was many things: feared, free, powerful… but he wasn’t proud.
He wasn’t proud of the title he had or the name they’d called him, honestly he didn’t think he deserved it. Tommy never had an evil plan, or a secret lair, or any of the cool things villains had. All he had was a shitty apartment and the clothes on his back, and a desire for more.
He couldn’t be a civilian, and he certainly wouldn’t be a hero, so he did what he had to do.
At fifteen years old, Red Death killed the top heroes in L’Manburg, and Tommy became a villain.
Or: Two years ago, the top heroes of L'Manberg were killed by Red Death. Now, ex-villain Tommy tries to juggle the fallout while also forging new relationships, some of which may be more complicated than they seem.

Tommy pulled the last yellow box over. It was old, extremely old. He carefully opened it, wondering if it would break in his hands. Inside were trinkets, papers, and items of all sorts. But there was a specific theme with the items, they all dealt with him. Everything in it had something to do with him.
He picked up a small photograph, it was a colorless blob, but he'd seen the type of photo before. It was a baby photo.
The box was about him.
Tommy pulled out the other photos. They had a family of five in each. Tommy only recognized one, though. And that was Sally, no Jared to be seen. Instead there was a curly brown haired man. But that meant Jared wasn't his dad, some guy named Wilbur was.
Or: Tommy learns that Jared is not his real dad. And decides to go and find his real dad in a town called L'manberg. But this Wilbur guy is being really annoying to find.

Wilbur blinked slowly, letting the words set in one by one. “My- I’m sorry, I think you have the wrong person, I don’t have a son,” he chuckled breathlessly, focusing back on his dinner, now waiting in the beeping microwave.
“We’ve ran two DNA tests on both your son and the mother, and you’re listed on his birth certificate as the father,” Techno explained, footsteps slowly coming to a halt. “Did you not know about him?”

At age 17 Tommy's life came to an end or at least that's what he thought. Instead he wakes up as Theseus, the newest third prince who soon becomes neglected after the queen's passing. Tommy of course isn't going to take this laying down, he was able to escape the foster system so he can escape this place.
Though perhaps he could try and glue this family back together again.
