And now he was dying. Trapped. Stuck underneath a crumbling building with only his bare hands helping to hold it up.

“Uh— Phil?” The man calls over his shoulder, golden eyes never leaving Tommy’s face, “I need your help over here.”
Tommy bares his teeth, wings fluttering threateningly. He doesn’t want the man to get help, he wants him to go away.
Another man steps into view. This one is short and blonde, with wings a hundred times bigger than Tommy’s, and he’s dressed just as nice as the first man. He hasn’t seen Tommy yet; he’s looking at the big pink one. Mouth open like he’s going to speak.
Tommy hisses again, louder this time. And the man's head snaps towards him— which doesn’t scare Tommy. He doesn’t shrink back, doesn’t try to tuck away his wings with a whine. Because he’s big. He’s big and scary; nothing is scarier than him and he knows it, because he says it.
“Oh,” The man says softly, expression falling at his eyes dart across Tommy’s face. “Oh, mate.”

The boy startled violently, flinching hard enough that Tommy actually saw his feet leave the ground. He nervously shifted the fingers over his right eye and peered out at Tommy through the gaps, and Tommy could clearly see the brown iris of his eye in full when it widened as it met his own. The boy gasped, leaving Tommy feeling even more confused.
“You can see me?!”

Or: Tommy is on his own, and he has been for months. Tubbo doesn't know what's happening to him, but together, they might just be able to solve both of their problems.

The dragon lowered its head. Wilbur couldn’t help but close his eyes shut, a strangled yelp escaping his lips. He had expected for the dragon to open its mouth and for sharp teeth to crush his bone and flesh, but instead, a wave of warmth washed over his face.
Wilbur dared to open his eyes and met a mocking tilt of the dragon’s head. Giant nostrils huffed out another breath, and hot air disheveled the fluffy curls of the boys’ hair.
Tommy raised his hand. Stunned and mouths agape, Wilbur watched as the dragon slowly pressed his muzzle into it.

Faint shuffling came from behind a dumpster to his left and from the darkness appears two glowing red eyes.
“You took a Hippocratic oath,” they say seriously.
“Sure did,” Phil agrees, looking over the kid now in front of him. Their long pink hair is the first thing that grabs Phil's attention but as he searches for any sign of an injury, he just notices the very recognisable suit they wear.
It's hard for Phil to connect the notorious villain Blood God and this scared and injured kid in his mind but while he might lack self preservation, he's also not a complete idiot.
OR: Phil's never been fond of superhero's but after saving a villains life he gets way too caught up in their world for his liking and things are worse than they seem.
OR OR: Phil might have just gotten kidnapped by villain teens and made into a father.

Always there, every step of the way, dependable even when not, sturdy even when failing, a comfort even when a curse.

The realization sent him gasping for oxygen- the numb haze falling instantly.
Fuck.
It hurt.
The messages on his laptop continued to pile up as he slumped against the wall. They would kill him if he died. Couldn't change the outcome though, could he?
Just another shitty foster home.
Tommy's been in the foster system for a long, long time. Tubbo's been by his side longer. Ranboo, while the newest of the three, is still someone Tommy trusts with his life (he has had to, before).
He's not sure what to think of his newest family, one father and two adopted kids, one of which is the Technoblade.
Regardless, Natalie is giving him the usually talk, which he could probably recite from memory at this point- and they're pulling up to the new home.
Maybe this house would turn out better than the last, Tommy mused, his ribs aching in memory.
“Alright,” Natalie slows down in front of one of the buildings. It's a deep green, almost grey, with a kept front yard and a slightly chipping door. “We’re here.”Only time would tell.

He knows that Tommy can’t jump anymore, but that’s all of it. Maybe they’re thinking his electricity and power shocks is something tied to his teleportation, but they can’t know the true extent of Tommy’s “power” and he’s pretty sure that that is what’s keeping him alive.“You want to poke me,” he hisses, although it doesn’t sound nearly as threatening as he wants, when he’s so goddamned tired and hurt and fucking aching.
“You want to prod me. You want to figure out my powers. Either you think I’m your new bargaining chip or your new protégé you want to torture into submission,” he spits, hitting the nail on its fucking head when Sentinel freezes in his sights. “Well I’m fucking neither. I’m Theseus, illegal fucking vigilante and two of your hostages happened to be my family.“And this is personal, bitch.”
Or: Being a vigilante isn’t simple—or legal—but Tommy refuses to sit on the sidelines.
