The Berlin Wall has just come down and Prussia is finally reunited with Germany. Except, it's not that easy. Prussia can't remember anything during his stay with Russia. Not only that, but he's small, weak, and plagued with nightmares he is desperately trying to make sense of. And even in the wake of trying to remember and get better, there is room to fall in love with a nation he's always cared for but was never the right time. The past was never so simple. And neither is the present, evidently.

Rei is still, eyes fixed on a panel with no speech bubbles. He doesn’t look up, he doesn’t say anything. Kazuki licks his lips and—feeling like his own heart is trying to do him in before Rei’s dad has the chance—adds, “Miri and I. We can't stay—I have a guy, he can get us out through—”
At that, Rei does look up. His eyes are narrowed, intense, as their gazes meet.
"Miri and I?" Rei repeats, toneless, and Kazuki swallows around an uncomfortable lump in his throat.
(Or: shit hits the fan, and life altering choices are made.)
