Summary
Nova always lived her life for experiences. When her late grandfather leaves her a letter on his deathbed offering up his farmland to her after his death, she takes the opportunity on a whim to try and regain a spark back into her life that her demoralizing corporate job has taken away from her. During her first few days in her new home, she learns the hard way just how much physical work a farmer’s life is, which leads her to meeting her very first friends in the valley—Maru and Penny. Maru and Penny guide Nova through the ups and downs of Pelican Town’s complicated social scene. But Maru and Penny’s one and only unanimous warning to Nova? Stay away from Abigail. Abigail’s warning? Stay away from Sebastian.
Nova decides that moving to Pelican Town on a whim wasn’t the last of her spontaneous ideas. She decides that she needs more experiences and is determined to date every bachelor in the valley, including Maru’s brother Sebastian. As she dates her way through the valley, she uses each date as an addition to her diary entries that she hopes to use to inspire her to write a story one day. When her diary falls into the wrong hands, she fears that her time in Pelican Town will quickly come to an end.

Meanwhile, some of her friends and classmates have jumped miles ahead and taken any chance to flaunt or brag about their own experiences.
Anxious and determined to “catch up,” Elle decides to start by conquering her first kiss during a game of Spin the Bottle among all her classmates. Only, things don’t go according to plan, somehow leaving her in quite the predicament with Sebastian Stoll - Stardew’s local “bad boy” who has more notches in his belt than anyone can count.
