Summary
With John B missing, JJ is struggling to cope. At the same time his fear of being left alone grows, he has to try and endure his father’s abuse, doing whatever he can to find safekeeping as he looks for the answers to who his real family truly is. Will the Pogues stay together? Or will JJ’s worst fear become a reality?
Pope and Kiara knows there’s so much more to JJ than what he shows. Under his carefree exterior there’s pain, anger, fear and loneliness. In true JJ-fashion, he bottles it up until it’s too much for him to handle. Despite this, he still carries so much love for the people closest to him. He feels the need to protect them from ever feeling the way he does. But when it all becomes too much, Pope and Kiara are there to catch him when he falls.
Angst, fluff, true friends and love commence!

Summary
Hongjoong’s head started to droop forward; he tried to lift it back up, but quickly gave in and let it fall against the table with a thunk. At least his face was hidden now. He let his guard fall, and a couple of tears dripped onto the table. His eyelids slid shut, but even then, sleep didn’t come. Heat balled in his chest and pushed at his throat, begging to erupt. He forced it down with measured breaths, but when a gentle hand settled on his shoulder, he couldn’t hold back anymore. He burst into tears, sobs shaking his exhausted body in earnest.
Or, Hongjoong has been struggling with insomnia, and doesn't tell the others until he truly can't bear it anymore.

Just a disclaimer though that I do not do smut and will not sexualize the members in any way, shape, or form. I also write mostly with everybody dating everybody (one big poly love circle ^.^) because i’ve found it’s easier haha, so I probably won’t be doing any oneshots where I have only one couple, but I can focus on one more than others. For a moment, things grew quiet. The only sounds were Peter’s ragged breaths and the dull roar of the river beside them. The three older Avengers watched the kid carefully, parental instincts peeking out behind their gruff exteriors. In a few minutes, Peter’s coughing ceased, and his breathing began to even out. Tony began to relax a little, only to realize that the kid was now shaking violently. Steve made the same observation.
“You cold, bud?”
Peter nodded quickly, wrapping his arms around his knees tightly. His lips were blue, and in the bright sunshine, his face was ghostly pale.
Bruce leaned toward Peter and rubbed his hands up and down the boy’s arms, trying to warm him up.
“I think he’s hypothermic. We need to get him back to the jet.”
Just then, Clint jogged up to the huddle of Avengers in the grass.
“Wasn’t he just…”
“Passed out from heat stroke?” Tony offered. “Yeah. And now he’s hypothermic. Get with the program Barton.”
OR
Only Peter Parker could get both heat stroke AND hypothermia, all within the span of an hour.

Peter’s first patrol After starts off uneventful, for the most part. He revels in the feeling that he’s finally doing something, the familiar motions easing the ache in his chest and building a solid wall between his fragile sanity and the ever-present black hole creature that seems to have taken up permanent residence between his ribs. Though he’s grown used to the constant throb in the preceding three weeks, he likes being able to focus on something else; the chill of the wind seeping through the mesh of his suit, the neon lights of the city bleeding together in a haze of reds and yellows and blues, the melodiously incessant beeping of the traffic crawling twelve stories below the building he’s perched on.
Yeah, he thinks. It’s good to be back.
