Summary
The Dark Urge is stuck in a past she can't remember, fighting to unlock the secrets of herself without much more than her name and her person to go on. She finds fellowship among her companions, shares a tent with a familiar drow who reminds her of something just outside the scope of her broken mind, and indulges herself in whatever ways she can without destroying her own life any more thoroughly. She wonders whether the monster she was before the crash was tame compared to the one she is now— or whether she has much, much more to learn about her past.

"What do you call the stick with the bowl on the end?" she asks, and Deacon raises an eyebrow.
"Uh, you lost me, Boss."
"The thing you eat with. Like a fork or a knife but for soup," Clara says, and she's making the motion as if she's eating cereal while she's speaking, as if using the muscles will help her remember if she ever knew it.
"A spoon?" Deacon says it almost as more of a question, like he's unsure if that's the answer or not.
Clara snaps her fingers and grins widely. "Yes! Spoon!"
