Summary
Ieiri Shoko is as normal as a sorcerer can get, with the most normal dreams, the most normal wants. It's a pity the world wants something more than that.
Even so, it's fun to play at god, with a god.
For how long is the question.

Summary
It's April 2009. Gojo Satoru was on the brink of change, all charged to catapult into a new horizon of the world in the aftermath his devastating life. But old wounds had a way of sinking into the bone, so he'll just have to carry those pains and endure the new ones.
OR
Master of growing apathy, Shoko still found a way to act surprised at his words. “So what, you’re like a dad now? That’s your plan after graduation?”
He scrunched up his nose. “I guess?”
Shoko’s laugh was as empty as her soul, as frail as the wisped out cigarette balanced precariously steadily between her fingers. Satoru tried not to read into the symbolism too much; it would do him no good to raise the strong on superstitions. “Good luck then, I guess.”
“Yeah,” he gazed off into the distance. “You too.”

Summary
Life after defeating Belial is complicated for Jesse. There is a lot he has to reflect on, grieve and make peace with. There is a lot to look forward to, at great cost.
It's good that he's not too alone, nor without guidance, like he was when he was a ghost.

Summary
“Do I know you?” she asked abruptly. “You look like someone I should be knowing but I can’t place who.”
At that he smiled. “We have met sometimes before. I know you,” he said warmly.
“You do, eh? Why don't I know you then?”
He shrugged. “Perhaps because our encounters have been very brief or none at all, especially not recently. You’re Lucie Herondale, aren’t you?”
---
It's not ideal to come across strange denizens in the heart of the woods, but Lucie is glad it's only this ghostly, pale boy, looking rather generationally rich (owning an outhouse by the edges of the forest) and harbouring a generational sadness in his teeth, his hands and eyes.
To Lucie, the outhouse ruptures into an endless fairytale, of warning, of adventure, or simply a story. But to the boy, it is so much more. He heaves when the house trembles, and she finds the cobwebs, dust and mould in his heart.
Just what had happened?

Summary
You've seen it. A fic formatted like a classified document. A chapter that looks like a real social media feed. An interactive game, somehow, inside an AO3 work. You clicked the kudos button. You thought: how.
This is the tutorial that answers that.
A beginner-friendly guide to HTML and CSS on AO3 — no prior coding experience required. By the end of this series, you'll know enough to write formatted fics, build your own workskins, style your entire AO3 interface, and maybe make something that makes other people stop and think how.

Summary
“Suguru told me that he didn’t think you knew how to live without touch. That you needed it like a plant needs the sun. Told me you’d wilt if you didn’ get enough hugs or some shit.” She points the same finger that’s been poking Infinity at Satoru in accusation. “You’re wilting. You droopy bastard.”
Satoru laughs, “You’re making me sound pathetic, and Suguru told you about all of that? I am deeply betrayed.”
Blinking at him, Shoko frowns, “He already deeply betrayed you, that's the whole.” she pauses as she sways a little on her feet, “That’s the problem.”
“Christ,” Satoru says quietly. “You need to sit down or something. Drink water.”
“When was the last time you drank water!”
Satoru takes her by the elbow and leads her down the stairs. Which is probably a good thing, she might have fallen on her face if she attempted to walk back down them by herself.
“I’m not a house plant,” Satoru says.

Summary
“I wonder if he’ll digest it,” muses Gojo, tapping a finger to his chin. He smiles at Megumi. “It’s probably a wonderful source of protein, though I can’t imagine it’s very fun to go down. Do you think I should buy something for Itadori’s throat in case the nail scraped him on the way down? Or perhaps something to deal with the aftertaste?”
“Mouthwash.”
“Or sake,” Gojo adds, and his tone is so non-joking, so serious, that Megumi stares at him.
“You do realize that we’re all—”
“Right, right,” interrupts Gojo, waving a hand in the air. “I forgot. I’ll just get him mouthwash. Let’s stop by the convenience store on the way back.”
_____or: Gojo takes Megumi to a bakery at 2:21 in the morning for no good reason.

could very well be canon. and it nails their quiet dynamic so nicely because everything is so balanced out! :') megumi respects gojo as his teacher, gojo treats gumi to something sweet, he's carefully annoying and they both care about yuuji. the comfortable banter between them is just AUGHHH i need more of them in my life.
oh author, whichever new account you've created, i hope you one day come back to this fic and read this comment and thank yourself for powering through the fic and not giving up

Winning the affections of Megumi is like picking at an iceberg with a fork. Satoru keeps chipping away, though, and perhaps that makes all the difference in the world.
