It looked like an awakening sigil, the sort of thing that one would see at the base of the statue guardians who watched over the cities or like the giant sigils on the core of the colossuses. At the center of the sigil, as the focus for the whole magical array, was the single character ‘shō’. Erase.
Without allowing himself a moment to second-guess, Hizashi took a deep breath and leaned towards the gargoyle. The arcanascript tattoos on his neck slowly flooded with brilliant canary-yellow light that contrasted sharply against the rich golden magic on the sigil. With magic infusing every syllable and breath, Hizashi whispered, “Erase”.
