Now is not the time to second guess himself. In one fluid motion, Izuku grabs Kacchan’s head, twisting it and kneeing the boy’s neck. Underneath Izuku’s knee, something pops, and Kacchan jolts, a strangled cry ripping from his mouth. Izuku brings up his knee again, desperation forcing power into it. He does this one, two, three more times, and Kacchan goes limp.

It’s a seemingly innocuous tweet that Shane reads, the type of standard pre-game roster updates every NHL account posts.
Ilya Rozanov (#81) is inactive for tonight’s game in Tampa due to illness. In an abundance of caution, he has been taken to Tampa General Hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
Ilya hasn’t said much since their fight on Boxing Day. Shane knows that the Centaurs are on a hot streak, ripping through North Carolina’s defense on their last-ditch attempt for a playoff spot, but he knows that because he has been stalking any media related to his boyfriend. Getting more than a few words out of Ilya through text or a few minutes on the phone with him has been pulling teeth. Not even discussing the upcoming hockey camps has managed to bridge the growing gap between them.
