They slot him into a doctor’s appointment between two meetings. An actual, physical doctor - company-approved, NDA-signed, refined to corporate perfection.
"How old did you say you were when you first suspected?"
"I didn’t suspect anything."
"Oh," the doctor says, and for a moment she falters. "That’s… unusual, but not unheard of."
He tunes out most of it, her voice becoming background noise. Something about hormone levels, about the company’s resources, about availability of scent blockers and scent suppressants. She hands him a pamphlet with a smiling cartoon omega on the cover - Your Second Adolescence: Understanding Late Presentation - which makes him want to scream. Instead, he grits his teeth and smiles, folding the pamphlet in half and pocketing it. Pretending - and assuring - he is going to read it.
Or: Joshua’s late presentation as an omega shifts something between him and Jeonghan. Seungcheol, as always, get stuck in the middle.

Because Joshua never got like this. Not in front of anyone as of late. He was always so soft spoken (other than when he argues with Seungcheol and Seungkwan), and almost always kept himself in check. And yet here he was, still reeling from the aftereffects from the recording buzzed, flushed and grinding into Minghao’s lap like it was the only thing tethering him to the earth.
