In the barracks, under the stresses of quotas, rations, and short-tempered supervisors, every miner chafes. Some more than others, but Jazz is managing. Still, when things get bad, all he wants is some rest and a good hard overload.
He's got good friends in his sector to frag him until his processor is cleared- if only they could get some privacy. And if only it actually worked.

Prowl, by all accounts, should have deactivated in battle.
But by the grace of a savior who should also be dead, he still functions. Weak, in pain, but still alive.
Now the two of them are trapped behind enemy lines, and with no chance of any rescue coming, can only rely on each other for any chance to make it out alive.
