Like this, Beomgyu’s demure — almost content. He likes sitting in silence with Yeonjun while everyone else around them talks animatedly about one thing or another. It’s almost as if they’re stuck in some little personal bubble, far removed from the terribilis of the world they find themselves stuck in. It’s the only time he likes being himself, away from all the substances he can’t really quit and all the people he doesn’t really like. Yet he’s never minded the bitterness at the bottom of his coffee-cup, or the bitterness of everything else that surrounds him, much too used to it. Beomgyu loves to feel alive, but hates to live, some sort of sick memento mori that he can’t help but speed up with every second passing.

In 1979, at the height of rock, one of the greatest bands of the time, Silver Moonrise, made their big comeback after a long hiatus. With the release of their new single, they instantly reached the top of the country's music charts. But to the surprise of their fans, they had done something that had never happened before.
They had done a feature with another artist: Choi Yeonjun.
Choi Yeonjun was one of the biggest punk/pop singers of the time and was always at the top of the music charts. He was charismatic, talented, and incredibly good-looking. His popularity was one of the greatest in the country and, at the time, even greater than that of Silver Moonrise.
But what no one knew was everything that had happened behind the scenes of the recording of that single and how it was all set to go wrong.
After all, Choi Beomgyu, the guitarist and leader of Silver Moonrise, was not only sure that his own record label was sabotaging his band, but he also hated Yeonjun and everything he did.
But for Yeonjun, everything was fine, because he hated Beomgyu just as much.At least, that's what they both liked to think of each other.

Summary
After their last concert Yeonjun had stumbled off the stage and was unable to get back up for a while. He tried to assure their manager that he probably pushed himself too hard on this last show, but his manager wouldn’t hear of it, and he forced Yeonjun to get checked by the physician on site before going back to the hotel. The members were worried, but since they still had a Weverse live planned, the staff urged them to go back to the hotel to take a well-deserved shower and prepare for the live. They would follow them together with Yeonjun as soon as possible.
The physician had taken one look and simply confirmed Yeonjun’s reasoning: over-exhaustion. He gave him a sports drink, told him to eat a decent meal and take it easy the next few days. No straining activities. However, once Yeonjun got back to the hotel ‘taking it easy’ was apparently not in the cards for him...
